What history does Grace hold?
Grace Apostolic Church, affiliated with the Ohio District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., was founded in March, 1993. The first services were held in the auditorium of Mohawk Middle School (now Columbus Africentric) on Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH. From that modest beginning, God added to the congregation, and a short 3 months later the congregation moved into their first church building at 2501 Mock Road.
In October, 2000, the move was made to our present location at 1743 East Lakeview Avenue. The present campus houses the main church building, which includes the sanctuary with balcony, more than 20 classrooms, a library and offices; the Ernest L. Hardy Center, a multi-purpose building which houses a commercial kitchen, gymnasium, board room and meeting rooms; and two other buildings.
Immediate future plans include the establishment of Grace Bible Academy, a facility for continuing Bible study, and expanded outreach programming through the E.L. Hardy Community Enrichment Center.
